Reservations and rates
Your stay begins at 1:00 pm on the first day of the booked period and ends at 12:00 noon on the stated departure date. Please ask reception about any changes. Occupancy cannot be extended beyond the period booked.
Reservations cannot be made by guests under 18 who are not accompanied by an adult.
A room may not be occupied by more people than the number included in the booking. If more people stay in a room than were booked, the reservation may be cancelled without a refund.
Only guests registered at the hotel may enter the property and use its facilities.
The accommodation price does not include hotel services or in-room services offered for an additional charge. A detailed price list is available at the property.
A reservation is not considered confirmed until a 30% deposit has been paid through the website using our payment gateway, at least 30 days before arrival.
Cancellation is free of charge and the amount paid will be refunded if cancellation is made up to 15 days before arrival.
The balance is payable on arrival at the hotel. Charges may also be made for items consumed or damage that the guest did not report to hotel staff at check-out.
Accepting the key and entering the room or rooms means that the guest accepts the hotel’s terms and conditions, which form part of the service contract. Use of the hotel’s services constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of the applicable rates and terms of use. The relevant charges will be added to the guest’s room account and included in the final bill at check-out.
Arrival
Reception is available 24 hours a day.
Keys cannot be handed over after midnight on the day of arrival. Key handover after 10:00 pm incurs an additional fee of €25.
On arrival, the lead guest named on the booking must complete and sign the registration form, which records the services requested. This document is a contract between both parties and incorporates the terms and conditions in these House Rules.
Guests must provide the identification documents requested by the hotel to meet its legal obligations.
Departure
Guests must vacate their room by 12:00 noon on the departure date. If a guest stays beyond this time and does not respond to the hotel’s notice, hotel staff may enter the room and leave the guest’s belongings at the property.
If you plan to leave before 8:00 am, please inform the hotel staff the previous day.
Guests must pay the bill when it is presented. Making a complaint does not remove this obligation.
Payment must be made in cash or with a credit card accepted by the hotel. Personal cheques and bank transfers are not accepted at check-out.
If a guest leaves without paying the full booking amount, any consumption or other charge due, the hotel may charge the outstanding amounts. The hotel will then send the guest an invoice by email or post.
Use of the hotel and its facilities
Rooms
If you would like your room cleaned, hang the “Please make up the room” sign outside the door. If you do not wish to be disturbed, hang the “Do not disturb” sign.
Room-cleaning hours are 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. If you do not leave the room temporarily during these hours or keep the “Do not disturb” sign on the door, the hotel is not required to clean the room that day.
Parking
Parking is for hotel guests only. This entitlement begins when the accommodation contract is signed on arrival and ends when the guest checks out.
The hotel is not responsible for items left inside vehicles.
To use the parking space reserved for guests with reduced mobility, the appropriate permit must be displayed inside the vehicle.
As with room rates, the parking price is set when the booking is made.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served from 8:30 am to 11:00 am and is included in the room price.
Laundry and linen
The hotel offers a laundry service but not an ironing service. Please request it in advance and agree the turnaround time with the hotel. Prices are listed in the information book on the table.
In-room safe
Each room has a safe. The owners are not responsible for valuables placed in it.
Luggage storage
The hotel has a luggage room next to reception where guests may leave their bags on the day of departure. Bags must be collected by 7:00 pm unless a later time has been agreed with reception. If bags are not collected at the agreed time, the hotel cannot guarantee access to them before 9:00 am the following morning.
Lost property
The hotel is not responsible for items that are lost or left behind. If an item is found at the property, the hotel will contact the guest to let them know.
The hotel will not store underwear, dirty clothing, slippers or toiletries.
Lost property will be kept for a maximum of 30 days. The hotel may arrange delivery by post or courier; the guest must cover the cost.
Responsible use and considerate behaviour
People who are not staying at the hotel may not enter the property.
Guests must show their identification documents to hotel staff when requested for access-control purposes.
Guests may move around and stay only in areas set aside for them. Private or restricted areas are off limits. Guests attending special events may not pass through areas reserved for the rest and comfort of hotel guests, or other guest-only areas, without the owner’s express permission.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the property except in the designated smoking area. For safety reasons, smoking is prohibited in guest rooms.
Animals are not permitted, except guide dogs as provided for by Spanish Law 5/1998 of 23 November.
The furniture, utensils, towels, bed linen and other items in the rooms and throughout the hotel are part of the services provided and are intended to make guests’ stays comfortable. Please use them properly and with care. These items belong to the hotel; if they are lost, stolen or unjustifiably damaged, the hotel may charge the guest’s account or credit card for their replacement or repair.
The guest who signs the registration form is responsible for the proper behaviour of everyone accompanying them. If that guest or any member of their party behaves inappropriately, the owner may require them to leave the property immediately, without compensation.
Under Article 33.2 of the Tourism Act, hotels may ask the law-enforcement authorities to assist in removing anyone who breaches the rules or attempts to enter or remain on the premises for a purpose other than the normal use of the service.
The owner welcomes suggestions that could make future stays more enjoyable. Our main aim is for guests to have a good experience at Hotel Senderos. If you notice a problem, please tell us as soon as possible during your stay so we can try to put it right. Complaint forms are available to guests.
Please switch off lights in rooms and areas that are not being used to help save energy.
Accommodation and other services are provided for the period agreed between the hotel and the guest. Any extension or reduction of that period must be discussed with the owner.
Please respect the areas where the hotel facilities are located during the night and siesta hours. Avoid unnecessary noise, especially at night. Observe the opening hours displayed at the entrances to hotel facilities; some hours may vary depending on the time of year.
Liability
The hotel is not responsible for theft, robbery or loss of items at the property, including items left with reception for safekeeping in the safe.
The hotel accepts no liability to guests for loss, damage, cancellation or additional expenses arising from causes beyond the owner’s control.
The owner is not responsible for items that are lost or left behind. If an item is found at the property, the hotel will contact the guest to notify them and agree collection or delivery arrangements. The hotel will not bear any related costs or handling.
